History
Energy Specialty Products, Inc. (ESP) is a wholesale distributor of primarily carbon steel welding fittings, forged steel fittings, flanges and related items. ESP was established in 1985 and operates from a 120,000 sq. ft. warehouse on a 9 acres site in Bossier City, LA, USA. Historically our primary thrust has been selling to industrial distributors, oilfield supply houses, and fabricators in the United States. ESP can supply your material needs regardless of location.
While ESP maintains a vast inventory of everyday commodity items, our niche’ in the marketplace continues to be the Special Schedule, Large OD and High Pressure Hard-To-Find items. From our inventory and strong network of suppliers, we can usually offer “one stop” package quotations at attractive pricing levels and delivery options. Due to our large diversification of materials, we quote each requirement individually. This gives our customers the benefit of the very best current cost levels available in the marketplace tailored to their needs. We offer personal service to you that we believe is second to none!
Our Founder
Thomas Tunnell started Energy Specialty Products from his garage and grew it in into what it is today.
Starting with his dream and 30 years’ experience in the industry ESP was incorporated in March 1985 in Shreveport, LA. In 1992 ESP moved to our current location in Bossier City.
Throughout his 50+ years in the pipe fitting, valve & flange business, Tom has developed a unique feel for the pulse of the industry’s ups and downs.
In December 2010, Tom named Allen Tunnell as President of ESP. Carrying on the determination to find and supply the best quality carbon steel pipe fittings, flanges, forged steel and related products to ESP customers – the family legacy continues.
